Where I was: I didn't have a signature coaching programme. Just a 6 session package with a cool name. Everything felt a bit scatter gun. I was working non-stop while the kids were at school for very little in return. I was spending most of my time just creating social media posts that hardly got any engagement. I had an email list with a few subscribers - most of them my friends! I'd created one lead magnet but hardly anyone was downloading it.

Where I am: II'm now really clear on my niche and it makes it so much easier to create marketing content as a result. I'm even enjoying creating marketing content now because of that. That in itself has been game changing because I'm finally getting leads from social media. Finally getting those 'I feel seen' messages that I've been desperate to get! I'm also clearer on what I stand for and am braver in sharing my POV and not worrying if it's polarising. I created a signature coaching programme (She’s Electric) that I'm proud of with a clear framework that I can talk prospective clients through on disco calls. I was very nervous about what I was charging for it as I had pretty much doubled the price of it. Before I even officially launched it though, I had 2 clients sign up for it. So essentially I more than made my money back on the FF Lite investment before I'd even finished the programme! I also feel a lot more confident on disco calls generally

Using the structure from FF as well as the visual of my signature programme has made it feel so much easier. I'm also building my email list more easily and am actually getting engagement now - whereas before it felt like I was talking to a brick wall!

What did your business/life look like before we started working together?

I had been running my business for about 2 years. In my first year it was easier to secure clients as I had launched with an intro offer and then got referrals, then I slowly built up my pricing a bit more. Then in my 2nd year (before I worked with you), I had a bit of a drought. Just 4 new clients in total. I'd launched a pilot group programme so 3 ppl had signed up to that. And I did one interview coaching session.

So in total, I'd earned about £800 (although I did have some PR freelancing on the side). But that was it. I didn't have a signature coaching programme. Just a 6 session package with a cool name. How were you feeling about your business before we started working together? How was feeling this way affecting your personal and business life?

Frustrated and sad. It felt like I'd finally found a career that I love but then it feeling like it's impossible to make it work. I was comparing myself to other coaches (further along in their journey than me), which was making me feel bad about myself. It was impacting my happiness - making me feel frustrated that I had no money. I was still in my overdraft, trying to claw my way out of it. It was becoming a source of contention with my husband too as all of the financial pressure was on him. Whenever we talked about my business, it would always end up in an argument.
